Refund Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
Because PixelWars is a digital, customized display service that may begin shortly after purchase, refunds may be limited once content has been approved or displayed. If content is rejected before display, the user may be offered the option to edit the content, submit replacement content, or receive a refund, subject to applicable law.
How it works
- Content rejected before display: if our review rejects your content before it ever appears on the board, contact avikik@gmail.com with your PayPal transaction ID. You can edit the content, submit a replacement for the same spot, or request a refund.
- Content approved or displayed: the service has been delivered — your customized content appeared on the public board. Refunds at this point are limited, and being painted over by another user is not a refund event: it is the core rule of the game, disclosed at checkout before you pay.
- Content removed for a policy violation: content that is hidden or removed because it violates the Content Policy is not eligible for a refund.
- Technical fault on our side: if you were charged and your content never displayed (and was not rejected), we will fix it or refund that payment — contact us with your PayPal transaction ID.
Not refund events
- Your tile being painted over / conquered by another user.
- You changed your mind, made a typo, or selected the wrong area.
- The board resetting at the end of a Season (disclosed on the site).
- The site being redesigned, paused, or shut down after your display.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights granted to you by mandatory consumer law where you live. Where such law grants a cancellation or refund right that applies to this kind of digital, customized, immediately-performed service, we honor it.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a payment dispute — most issues are resolved faster by email. Disputes opened for purchases that were delivered as described (displayed, then possibly painted over, per the rules you accepted) are answered with the checkout consent records, and the payer may be banned from future purchases.
